We can supply a walk around balloon modeller for your event. The great thing about balloon modelling is that it appeals to all ages. People love watching to see what is being created.

We already undertaken work for childrens' nurseries, play barns, factory fun days, garden centres, shopping centres (including the Trafford Centre), shops, supermarkets, museums, theatres, car showrooms, within football grounds, rugby clubs, for schools and council promotions.
We have also worked with event management companies.
We have the ability to provide more than one face painter or balloon modeller in order to meet your requirements. Just tell us your needs and we will make up a package for you.

OUR PHILOSOPHY
The philosophy of the Face Painting Lady is very much to provide a friendly, enjoyable service with special attention to making sure the children are happy, are enjoying the experience and are made to feel special.
You can never be too busy to talk to the children as it is their special moment.
We pride ourselves on the standard of our service and strive hard to ensure that customers are left feeling satisfied and pleased with the quality of our work. We welcome customer feedback at all times to ensure this.
Workshops and training days on face painting and balloon modelling skills are attended on a regular basis to ensure the best standard of skill and increase experience.

If time is an issue, we can arrive with ready made up balloons and concentrate on the face painting at your event. The balloons would be ideal instead of a party bag or in addition.

CODE OF PRACTICE
PRODUCTS USED
All paints used are professional cosmetic face painting products such as Snazaroo or Wolfe Brothers . All products used are made with cosmetically approved ingredients, which are non-toxic and fully compliant with EU toy and cosmetic regulations.
The paints are water based so can easily be removed with soap and water (a wet flannel or a bath are ideal!).
Any glitters used are manufactured for face painting use.
ALLERGIC REACTIONS/HYGIENE
In the interests of hygiene, a child with a cold sore, rash or skin infection should not be painted.
If you are concerned as to any skin reaction, a skin test can be taken on the elbow at least one hour before the face is due to be painted. If there is any reaction at all, for obvious reasons, it would be
unwise to proceed with the face painting.
FOR AGES 3 AND ABOVE
Face painting is not recommended for children under 3 years old as it is very hard for them to be still for the sitting. If they are under 3 years old, it may be more suitable to do a small design on
their arm or hand as considered appropriate by their parent/guardian. We are unable to paint any child under the age of 2 in view of the above.
CLEAN EQUIPMENT
A fresh sponge is used for every child and water is replaced in a regular basis. We consider hygiene to be very important. If you child has a dirty face before painting, we have baby wipes to clean them before they can be painted.
All brushes, sponges and utensils are cleaned after and during every event to ensure high standards of hygiene at all times.
INSURANCE AND CRIMINAL REFERENCE CHECK
For your assurance, both liability insurance documentation and detailed criminal reference check papers are available for perusal as required.
EQUIPMENT
We supply our own table and chair and if required, we have our own gazebo for outside fun days and the like. Just tell us your needs. |

MURALS AND ARTWORK
If you have an idea, we can create a design for your wall!
The Face Painting Lady (Alison Steventon) , together with Shirley Hayes of Shirley Hayes Designs (www.shirleyhayes.co.uk)
both joined forces to complete the mural artwork at Pirates
Paradise, (www.boredtotears.co.uk) the new childrens' indoor play centre in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire which opened in January 2007.
Shirley runs her arts and craft centre above Pirates
Paradise and is usually open most weekends and school holidays. She also does mobile craft parties that may also fit your requirements

TRAINING DAYS FOR FACE PAINTING AND BALLOON MODELLING
We are pleased to announce, new for 2008 the availability of one-to-one training days for either 'An Introduction to Face Painting' or 'An Introduction to Balloon Modelling'. These will usually be offered as a one day course from 10am to 3pm. If you are interested in learning more about either or both of these creative skills, then please contact us for more details and we can prepare a training day around your needs.
